if you plan on getting a Poco F3, what phone are you replacing?

I think longevity is not just about the strength of the chipset

I hope Samsung will put stereo speakers on its M series phones soon. I like the phones big batteries but hold off buying one until it has dual speakers and better cameras.

What about screen dimming and touch delay issue?

This phone is riddled with problems. Cant believe you suggested this phone. Battery life is way worst than 6 hours sot, there's problems with the screen not registering touches, the video quality is way worst than you made it out to be, and the screen dims after 10 minutes of gaming.

Still rocking my F1 also. I invest in a new Nilkin glass screen protector every now and then and it feels like a new phone all over again every time. Not sure about the F3 though. Kinda bummed about the headphone Jack etc. Considering the X3 Pro maybe instead.

just buy f3 after using f1 for 3 yrs. f1 still rocks but the price of f3 so tempting i just can let go. the upgrade are on charging speed, lcd, camera + ir blaster

i think about buying an unexpensive phone next time and put a little more on a laptop, maybe a XPS 15 or some of the more expensive asus ROG laptops. So i like these kind of videos. The only thing I really need is a phone that doesnt lag while browsing the internet or scrolling in the homescreen - i want it to be smooth preferable without any bloat. I really dont care about the camera that much since i dont take alot of photos, an average camera would be enough. I want to be able to put the phone in my pocket with my keys without destroying the phone. An ok screen because i watch alot of youtube and netflix. i want the fingerreader in the the screen and it has to be FAST. also i would never buy a phone without a headphone jack so that is a must. More than that, it would have to be able to handle connecting to linux servers remotely etc. but i am sure pretty much any phone handles that today. but all of these wireless charger feauters, waterproof etc. is something i will never ever need in a phone. I have never had any problem without these features, they are just damn expensive and nothing else. I understand people who want a good camera but for me that takes a selfie now and then and a photo of my friends and family now and then and who doesnt use fb, insta, snap etc, i dont want to pay 400+ bucks extra for that becasue i dont need it I have an oneplus 5 that is still going strong and will probably work for a few more years so i will keep track of all the new phones that will be released during that time

Hey there Dave2D, i'am realy struggling to buy a new phone to replace my 3 years old huawei p10, and this 2 phones are killing me, i realy dont know wcih one to buy, to be fair i dont mind to give 100 more € to buy a new phone, all i look for is a slightly good camera, slightly good processor, good battery (at least 4500mh), waterproof and headphones jack. will you help me one this journey? i also know oppo is nice, but iam so god damn divided with all options, but every phone lacks of something. i realy want and experient opinion on that. i dont mind paying like 600€ for it. keep up the good work, i hope you can reply. best regards.

the service sux in the long run, if u plan to use this phone for more than 3 years you will be disappointed as the old mobiles parts are not being supplied by the companies for example the battery

one thing you forgot to mention is the extremely shabby haptic feedback in most budget phones. I bought a samsung galaxy a51 when it came out (first time i bought a budget phone because flagship prices were just getting out of hand) and one of the things that bothered me the most was the fact that it just didn't have any haptic feedback motor. It just used the subpar vibration motor to give a sort of cheap fake vibrationy feel. The poco f3 on the other hand uses the same high quality haptic feedback motor as the mi11. overall user experience is a lot better than most budget phones

Just got myself a F3. Seems really good to use and I am coming from a Note8. And it was still pretty good to use. But it was the battery that was never great with that. Hope F3 lasts longer

Nicee revieww, i really like this phone but for long term use is the heat of the phone disturbing? I'm kinda worry that the heat issue will affect the screen (screen burn-in, etc), the battery will be damaged, and the performance will slowly drop off for long term use 😅

I have to disagree on the CPU part. I can not see how a CPU can degrade in a span of 3 years. It all has to do with how much software you have installed on your phone, what runs constantly on the background and how good the software updates have been over the years. Therefore I'd say you'd have similar performance on the A52 5g and the Poco F3 after 3 years. I would personally choose the F3 because of the community support, but for someone that isn't into that kind of thing, I think the Samsung A52 is the better choice here.
